The One With the.... urgghhh!

No.. I am not complaining..
pretty much... er .. er... ngadu aci tak?
hehehhe..

I feel tired more easily nowadays..
tho my body weight is decreasing.. (yes, you read that right, decreasing)..
but the tummy's apperance is somewhat visible dah..
huhuh... but according to dear hubby..
i look more like a fat lady then a pregnant lady..
durhhhhh... :P

The all-day-sickness is still there..
but pretty much getting better..
There are times I can really eat..
but... sometimes(or still most of the time?),
food isn't my best friend..

I practically can't make a wrong choice of food..
or else.. the day is over for me... hahahha..
abis seme yg aku makan kuar balik!

But again, no.. not complaining..
just... mengada-ing.. can rite?
hehehhe..

Anyway...
all these happens for a good reason..
a good cause aight?

Yes, I am happy to have this baby in me..
yippiee!!

well, I guess I just got to start doing my work..
I really hate it when the Development System is so slow and I need to do some testing before I could transport my changes to the Test System..

The One With the melting heart

I had a lonng day yesterday...
Went back home around 930pm, feeling hungry, tired and having bad headache..
Felt like whole body of mine is aching actually.

Worse part, I can really swallow anything..
Seme rasa nak terkeluar balik!
So ended up, I just ate plain white bread...

My head was spinning like nobody's business..
So, I head to my bedroom and laydown..
Then come my little princess...

"Mummy sleep? Cian mummy, mummy penat.. baru balik work... mummy pening.. mummy sleep yah?"

Huhuhuhuhh...

My heart melt...

I can't believe how fast she has grown up..
huhuhu..

Mummy loves u alya!!

I fall asleep after that... and woke up around 12.30pm when hubby comes back from work..
I know he must felt really tired and hungry...
and yet... he still took his time to give me a good massage...
so I could sleep better...

Urgghhh... my heart melt again..

Thank God... for sending these two most wonderful person to me..

Syukur.. alhamdulillah..

The One With the month of blessing...

I've always love April...
Yes, I was born in April...
and therefore I will always look forward for April to come..
for me to get my birthday party, and also lots of pressie..

but not only that... for me... my good fortune always comes in april..
like.. getting my first job.. it was indeed a last minute thingy..
I was among the last to get the confirmation for my practical training..
but the good thing is... the company would like to hire me...
so.. I'm actually already working while doing my practical training..

even for my 2nd job.. I also got the interview and offer in April..
heyy.. even my 3rd job I would say....:D
lucky month i suppose?
i guess so..

owh ya... the best thing that happened to me was having Alya in me..
and you guess that right... it also happens in April...
hehhehe... great huh?

and it happens again...
in the month of April...
I'm blessed with another baby...
Syukur Alhamdulillah...
Allah memperkenankan doa kami...

Alhamdulillah..
I am now 9 weeks pregnant...
it is still a long way to go...
Though I had a rough start.. and still having those all-day-sickness thingy...
I am hoping for a smooth pregnancy.. and safe delivery..

Pray for me and my baby yah?

The One With the recovery

Alhamdulillah... my brother has recovered from his dengue....
He told me that the experience was like... "mati hidup semula"

We weren't really sure where did he gets his dengue as he was not at my hometown during his semester break..
He did went to my place and stayed there for few days when i was out of town..
and right after we come back, he went to his frens house at Shah Alam..

So, it is either my house or his friends house...

His fever starts on Wednesday.. and he only comes back to my parents house on Friday night.. around 11++pm
telling us he felt like he might have dengue... we monitor his fever that night... and send him to clinic on Sat morning.
The blood result came out in the evening.. and his platelet count went down to 22..
We straight away bring him to UMMC, and took another blood test... and the result came out as his platelet count went further down to only 8!

He was warded, and within 24 hours.. his platelet count went down to just 2, went up to 8 and went down to 6... and still it is a single digit. He can't really eat, coz his stomach was really in pain.. and he vomits alot.

On sunday, his gum started to bleed, he started to cough blood, and his platelet count is still either 6 or 8.. no much improvement and we were told if his blood pressure and oxigen level in his blood went down.. there's a need to do blood transfusion..

On Monday, he was discharged, when the platelet count went up only to 11!! Yes, believe me, he was discharge when the platelet count was just 11, and his gum is still bleeding..
There were too many dengue cases and they have not enough bed.. and since his platelet count is more than 10 now, he could be discharged!

He went back, spend the night still feeling pain... and the next day he was brought to PMC and admitted there. Spend 2 days 1 nite there, were given medication for his liver and what not.. and alhamdulillah.. he recovered.

It was a tough time for us especially my mom... who has been crying a lot, thinking that she might not see her son anymore... But thank to Allah, he survived... amin...

So you guys out there... please be careful! If you had fever for few days and it doesn't go away, do a blood test!! Better be safe than sorry!

he is now admitted at PPUM...

I really hope and pray that he'll be better...

The One With the back at home

Alhamdulillah....
we arrived safely at home...
the journey was great..
the accompany was great...
the food?? if it is not great, why are we still eating until the last minute...
ahahhahaha... just don't want to miss the chance to taste most of the tasty food there..

tho, there's also some issues on the food... (i dare not describe here)..
but heyyy..... food there was really tasty.. kan kan kan?

I haven't got the chance to transfer the pics..
not that I took a lot of pics anyway...
but I will update soon...!

The One With the queries

I get few feedback and questions on how did I manage to train Alya to be on diaper free...
and the answer for that question is...

I don't really know! ahhahaha...
To be honest, I tried few tricks on her.. I am not so sure which one manage to crack some sense to her (so small also got sense already meh?) hehhehe
1. Tease her for not being able to do her 'business' in the toilet
2. Told her she is a clever girl if she can do her 'business' in the toilet
3. Told her she cannot go to school if she is still wearing diapers, since everyone at school not wearing diaper.. I gave example of geng bas sekolah
"Tgk, geng bas skolah mana ada pakai diaper, sebab tu boleh pegi school..."
4. what else ya.. I know I talk a lot of crap with her... (oh man... while writing this, I remembers more on the personality types that the trainer told me yesterday..man.. he is rite.. I am a popular sanguine... hahhahahah)

Ya, I told her stories on how clever someone is when he/she is no longer using diaper.. I told her that when people grow up, they won't be wearing diaper anymore, coz only babies does.. and I ask her whether she is a baby or a big girl... etc.. etc... yupp.. i made up a lot of stories... hahhahaha..

But nonetheless, all these wont be a success without the help of bibik.. who constantly tries to get Alya not wearing any diaper during the day.. Though she fails a lot, but she still tries.. and I guess, if she didn't constantly just take the risk of Alya terbocor... it might just take longer that expected.

I totally understands moms who wanted to get their kids out of diaper, but when we are working, it is much harder to do since we have less control of our kids.. I agree with Filla, even she trained Kasih to be on diaper free, but during the day, when she send Kasih to nursery, Kasih will be put on diaper again, hence the miscommunication, and definitely Kasih will find it hard to understand, when should she be on diaper, and when she should... etc...

But again, I know we want them to learn... but... they need to learn though our guidence, and of course help. But never forget, let them take their time to learn.. do not force... things will take place.... one fine day....so, be happy ok?

The One With the newly found!

I went to a Presentation training last 2 days and one of the topics discussed was about personality...

From the trainer, I know that there's 4 types of personality as below:

Popular Sanguine
Powerful Choleric
Perfect Melancholy
Peaceful Phlegmatic

At first, I thought I was more on peaceful phlegmatic since I usually cannot make decisions (eg: where to eat, where to go, what movie to watch.. etc). Not that I cannot make the decision.. but I guess I am always okay... just like the phrase.. "Anything will do" "Ok with it.." and so on..

However, the trainer inform me that I am more Popular Sanguine rather than Peaceful Phlegmatic (which then my hubby refers me as Ego Maniac.. duuuhhhhh). The more I think about it, I kinda find it true in some ways... I love to be around people.. I love to talk.. I love to meet new friends... that explains why I have a Friendster account, Facebook, Blogger, Fotopages, Flickr, and the list goes on and on...

And guess what... I found out a cool website 3GB Commmunity where we can meet old friends, new friends, share photos, chats.. and much more.... ! You're asking me if I am interested? Of course I do!!

The One With the diaper free!

At 2 years and 3 months, my baby girl has become a big girl now...
She's been diaper free (during day time, at night, still pakai diaper sbb takut terbocorrrr!) for a week now!

I don't usually write on her achievements or what she has accomplished coz I want her just to take her own sweet time... but being a 'mata duitan' mom, I could save a lot when Alya is no longer using diaper... hahahhaha....
that would means, more shopping budget to me huh? Good girl Alya! hahahhaha..

Speaking of budget, I believe most mummies will agree that besides formula, diaper has been the one on the top list of -baby needs-, and I think the price has increased a lot lately... like it or not.. we need to buy those diapers... unless... you guys are up to using -baby-napkin- ... larat ke nak basuh? and also... I guess it is more convenient to use diapers as well rite?

So now, I'm really happy that besides this is among Alya's milestones, it could save us some money... Baby, maybe budget diaper we can put in her account?? hehehe.... at least something for her rite?

If you ask how we manage to train her... hahahhaha.... WE DID A LOT!! hahahhaa... it takes time actually... We decided since Alya can verse pretty well (kalau bab jadi mak nenek, serahlah kat dia!), it is time for her to start telling us when she wanted to go to toilet as well..

We've been using a lot of tactics to get her into doing it... but I guess, the one really work is when she is eager to go to school after watching "Geng Bas Sekolah" @ Ceria, and I told her if she wanted to go to school, she must tell us if she wants to pee or poo poo... after a lot of trials, we manage to convinced her... and now... she's diaper free!

But the problem now is... she's been asking about school... hahhahahah... Daddy, this weekend we need to check out for suitable so called school for her.... if not, she will not trust us again! hehehhe

Any suggestions on toodler school guys? really appreciate it!

The One With the superboy

I did mentioned that I went back to my hometown to vote rite?
Well, that was not the interesting part...

Besides Alya having fun in her small pool with her cousins..
we were invited to Super Darren birthday party!!!
I know this entry was really overdue, but the reason it was put on hold is because i wanted to write about it in my fotopages entry... however, after few trials, I raise my case...

I believe all you has seen the sign recycle bins or recycle disposal where there will be few bins allocated that indicates whether it is for bottle, cans, or papers.

Do you know what type of plastic that could be recycle..

I stumble upon this website that explains on High Density Poly Ethylene or HDPE which is a form of recyclable plastic that has been used widely in product manufacturing.

How HDPE is being used in product manufacturing is by 3 types of HDPE.

1. HDPE Film is used for snack food packaging and cereal box liners.
2. HPDE in blow molded form is used for non carbonated drink bottles.
3. HDPE in injection molded form, it is mostly used for margarine tubs and also deli food.

So basically, HDPE can be used as any type of packaging, depending on the types and usage.

The best thing of HDPE is, it is recyclable. Once used, the scrap HDPE can be recycled and to be used again.

Start saving our World now, collect your scrap HDPE and start recycle peeps!

I haven't been feeling so well lately... having flu since Thursday...
and to make things worse.. something had happen to us last Thursday...

I don't wish to discuss here coz I know some ppl has the tendency to laugh at your misfortune,
or say things that we don't really wish to hear...
hard enough to has lost something, and to hear ppl saying
"that's so stupid".. or.. "told you so..." is definitely not something I wish to hear..

Alya got a pressie from Mai and Ila on her 2nd birthday...
since I lived in a small apartment(more like a flat), to we practically do not have the space to actually use the gift... so I brought the gift back to my parents house... and see the impact?

even Abg Munir who is 12 enjoys the swimming pool(but I forgot to take pics... macam dugong ok!!!) ahahhahaha
Eventhough it was meant for small kids like alya and amira.. but both amira's sisters...

I know Alya had a lot of fun enjoying the pool and accompany..

The One With the internet

Have you been feeling that the internet connection is a bit slow nowadays especially at night or weekends? Feeling tired about it??
Well, me too... especially when you need to submit something urgent and it took you forever just to send an email...
You bet I definitely know how it felt...

I'm working in the IT line and sometimes I need to work on odd hours or even on weekends or public holidays to ensure that the system is up and running without a problem, or I need to do some enhancement and it need to be done outside office hours..Therefore, I really rely on good internet connection outside office, so I am able to perform my job when needed..

Since it has to be done during odd hours or in other words, outside office hours.. I choose to do it at home. However, sadly to say there are few cases I ended up dragging myself to office just because the internet connection is so slow and I am not able to do a remote to my office connection.. sad but true.. that is really the condition lately..

As an alternative solution, I started to browse on how can I improve the internet connection, or find a better service provider that could offer better and even faster speed connection...
